The days get longer and warmer and suddenly the fields are filled with amazing Oregon produce ready for u-pickers and for market shoppers. One of the delights of this time of year is all the great family farm opportunities. You’ll find picture-perfect picnic grounds, petting zoos, kids' farm camps, art classes, dinners, family fun days and so much more activity! We can hardly keep track of it all -- but we’re doing our best!! Here’s a big bundle of activities for you and your family this June and July at our member farms. Enjoy the farm fresh family fun!

JUNE 10: Hartnell Farms, Clackamas, OR -- 9am. Big farm garage sale including farm and restaurant equipment. Plan to pick strawberries, picnic under the walnut tree and find garage sale treasures.
JUNE 11: Tom’s Berry Patch, Forest Grove, OR -- 11-11:30am and 11:45 -12:15pm. Join Imagination Yoga kids’ Yoga, a program designed to inspire kids to move through a combination of yoga poses and imaginative stories. Kids ages 4 to 7 at 11-11:30; kids ages 7-12 at 11:45-12:15. $12 drop in fee. Kids need to bring a yoga mat or a towel. Class is held at the CSA farm on NW ClapShaw Hill Rd. JUNE 11: Our Table Cooperative, Sherwood, OR -- 9:30am or 12:30 pm. Join us at the table with Lonesome Whistle Farm and their rare varieties of heirloom beans, grain & corn. JULY 10-14: Our Table Cooperative, Sherwood, OR—All day farm camp for kids in grades K-5. Students will spend the week exploring our 58-acre organic working farm participating in day-to-day life on the farm; we'll follow our curiosity as we taste fresh food from the fields, explore nature, plant seeds, and enjoy hands-on crafts, cooking and games. JULY 19: Our Table Cooperative, Sherwood, OR -- 6pm-8pm. Learn how to make shelf stable jams and jellies using the water bath method. We will discuss tools, techniques and complete multiple recipes from start to finish.
