MASON HILL ORCHARD has fresh picked Braeburn, Pink Lady, and Melrose apples available in our self service stand. Braeburn and Pink Lady apples are our last variety that we harvest. They are both excellent eating apples very crisp and noted that when sliced they don’t brown so make an excellent salad apple. Melrose apples are a multipurpose apple excellent for eating not to tart or not too sweet but a balanced flavor also good for apple sauce or a dessert apple for baking. Their main claim to fame is they store very well so if you are looking for a good keeper Melrose is a good choice. All of our apples are available in 5lb & 10lb handle bags and 20lb & 40lb boxes.
