Veteran Peaches

This is the FINAL WEEK of harvest at JOSSY FARMS for Veteran peaches and Gravenstein apples. . We have lots of ripe peaches and apples available to pick! We plan to be open from 9 am - 6 pm every day this week but as always please call (503-647-5234) before you come out! Our orchards are clean, the trees are loaded with juicy, sun-ripened fruit and are low to the ground (no ladders needed). The price is 85¢ per pound. Our family-owned farm is conveniently located off the Sunset Hwy near North Plains (approx. 15 mins from Portland).   Located 1/8 mile south of the Sunset Highway at the North Plains exit (#57) and 1/4 mile west on Beach Rd.  31965 NW Beach Rd. Veteran peaches are the favorite for eating, canning, freezing and cooking. They are the best peaches for canning because they peel without scalding. New this year we have peach, apple, oak, hazelnut and wild cherry wood for use in a smoker or BBQ.
