Tri-County Farm Fresh Produce

In our corner of Oregon it’s time to get your early summer produce on. That means lots of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and soon, cherries. Early vegetables are here such as asparagus, peas, salad greens and more. It’s the time of year everyone celebrates by getting outside and getting active. Our farms want you to celebrate with you and we’ve got an update of great family opportunities. Check out these great June and July events!

You'll learn the nuts and bolts of sourdough bread making, from maintaining a starter to mixing, shaping, and baking a country-style loaf using the Dutch oven method. Berry desserts and treats and grilled sausage lunches for sale. Wine tasting by Provincial Vineyards, too. Live music by “What is that noise?”, “Woodlander” and “Tried and Blue.” Family activities include farm tours, a Berried Treasure Hunt, petting zoo and special visit with alpacas from Easy Go Farm. No entrance fee but small costs or donation requests for some individual activities.

Come out for a day on the farm and enjoy our flocks of Border Leicester, Coopworth and Gotland sheep and their frisky lambs. (The sheep, Scout and the guard llama request that you please leave your own pets at home—no dogs can be allowed held or on leash. We will be sampling lamb and our yummy pasture raised chicken and turkey all day. Fun activities for all the family including music, cheese and chocolate sampling and sheep shearing demonstrations.
