The snow and ice from our February ice storm have melted and annual clean-up has begun on many of our farms. You are probably familiar with the idea of "spring cleaning" - the concept applies to farms, too! You'll find many of our farmers cleaning out their barns, dusting off and servicing their equipment, and ordering seed for the year's planting plans. Others are welcoming new lambs to their herds, pruning their orchards, and putting together marketing plans for the year. It's a busy time of year to be a farmer!

Happy New Year from The Tri-County Farm Association!
As farmers, herders and ranchers, our lives are busy before the sun comes up until long after it sets. Our expertise is the flocks and fields; the markets and groves. The Tri-County Farm Association handles the promotion and builds the customer and future-customer awareness we don’t have time to do ourselves in our farm-days. And, with Tri-County’s economy of scale, the combined dollars of members accomplish more than any one farm could on its own. Tri-County is your bang for the buck.

Don’t forget about your farmers this Holiday Season. Lots of local farms have a great bounty to share for your Thanksgiving feasts, including winter squash, local meats, pies, and baked goods!
After Thanksgiving, many farms will also hand craft wreaths, centerpieces and other beautiful decorations for your home, complete with big bows and all the trimmings.
