Morning Shade Farm is open for the last day of the u-pick season this Saturday October 23 from 9 am to 3 pm for u-pick organically grown Apples (Fuji, Braeburn, and Goldrush) for $1.50/lb. And at the Farm Stand we will be making apple cider from a very flavorful mix of our organically grown apples!! Come see the operation and enjoy a free cup of fresh pressed cider. One gallon jugs will be available for $12 each.

We will also have already picked Apples (Ashmead, Crispin, Mutsu, Jonathon, Fuji, Braeburn, and Goldrush), Pears, and Asian Pears for $1.70/lb; Grapes $1.50/lb; Squash (butternut, spaghetti, delicate, danish, and kuri) $1.20/lb and Pumpkins $0.35/lb. All orchard fruit and vegetables are organically grown. We also have raw Honey ($19/qt) and Blueberry Juice ($8/qt).

Already picked frozen blueberries are available this Saturday or by appointment any day of the week by calling the farm at 503-651-2622. Price is $27 per 10 lbs (13 pints) or $14 per 5 lbs packed in freezer ready, zip-lock bags (cleaned of stems, leaves, soft and green berries).

Frozen sweet smoothy berries are available for only $24 per 10 lb bag. These are late harvest Liberty blueberries that are sweet but smaller in size that are great for making smoothies, juice, jams and pies.

Frozen Elderberries in 5 lb bags are available for $5 per pound with a few small stems, or $6 per pound stripped of all stems, and Aronia berries for $4 per pound.

Morning Shade Farm is located at 8345 S. Barnards Road, 7 miles south of Canby (30 miles south of Portland) in a peaceful country setting with picnic tables and flush toilets and hand washing facilities. We provide buckets to pick into with a plastic bag insert to take the fruit home in, or you can use your own picking containers. We prefer cash or checks, and can also accept credit cards and WIC/FDNP food vouchers. Please maintain social distancing when checking in and out at the farm stand. The Oregon Health Authority also recommends wearing a face mask in crowded areas such as at the farm stand check in and check out area.
