There is nothing better than knowing where your meat comes from, how it is raised, what it has been fed, are the animals taken care of and if they were harvested humanly. That is something that we can guarantee here at The Pierce Family Ranch. All our livestock is on pasture their entire lives, once the turkeys and chickens are weaned from the heat lamps they have access to all the grass and bugs they can nibble on and are also supplemented with a non GMO free grower food. The butchers that I use are very compassionate and respectful and that is something that we take great pride in. I am very fortunate to be able to enjoy the meat that I personally raise myself and love hearing from my customers on how great our beef, pork, chicken and turkey is. If you would like to enjoy some of this wonderful meats that I raise you can contact me at our website thepiercefamilyranch.com.

Chicken: Freezers are fully loaded with chicken, these are whole fryers and sizes range from 2 plus pounds to 5 plus pounds. They were harvested this spring in April, May and June and the last batch that I am raising goes in on July 12th. After that I will be done with chicken for the year.

Turkey: We are accepting orders for our turkey for Thanksgiving. We have 2 dates scheduled for them, October and the week of Thanksgiving so they will be fresh, not frozen if you choose the November date.

Beef: Our calendar is set for 2019 butcher dates for our Wagyu Angus Beef all the way through this fall. We sell by the quarter, half and whole. Everybody that orders our beef or purchases it from the markets I attend rave about how great our beef is. No grains are ever introduced to our cattle, we do not use growth hormones or steroids, just all naturally grown cattle enjoying the nice green grass right now. Once the grass burns up they are fed locally grown grass hay and alfalfa.

Pork: Harvest date for our pork in August. We sell the pork shares by the half or whole.

The nice thing about ordering shares from us is YOU get to talk to the butcher on how you want to customize your share to best fit your families lifestyle. You don't like roasts? You only want hamburger and choice steaks? Not a problem. The butcher will do it how you want it. If you want the bones for broth you also get those as well. The butcher that I use is in Dayton, he has been doing this for 20 plus years and does a great job.

If you would like to try out our meat before committing to a share you can catch us at the Tigard Farmers market, the McMinnville Grange market and the Newberg market. Our market schedule and addresses can be found on our website or you can come to the ranch and purchase from our farm store. Take note that our store is by appointment only.

Feel free to contact us for more information on our meats that we raise.
