Morning Shade Farm is open for U-pick blueberries (Duke, Early blue and Toro), currants (black, red and white), gooseberries, raspberries, thornless marionberries, loganberries, sylvans, and katatas! Boysenberries should start Sunday July 2. All U-pick berries are $2.40 per pound. We are open Wednesday through Sunday from 8 am to 3 pm (closed Monday and Tuesday). U-pick elderberries and orchard fruit in early August and hardy kiwi berries and juice grapes start in September.
Fresh picked blueberries (Duke), cleaned of stems and green berries, are now available and can be ordered for pickup at www.morningshadefarm.com or by calling the farm and leaving a message at 503-651-2622. Fresh picked prices are $32 per 10 lb bag, or $31 each bag for 100 lbs or more, $30 for 300 lbs or more, $29 for 500 lbs or more, $28 for 1000 lbs or more. Unprocessed blueberries straight from the field are $2.60 per pound (minimum of 200 lbs). We also have fruit popsicles, blueberry juice, and honey at the farm stand.
Morning Shade Farm is located at 8345 S. Barnards Road, 7 miles south of Canby (30 miles south of Portland). We have flush toilets and hand wash facilities. We have buckets to pick into with plastic bag inserts to take your berries home in or you can bring your own containers. We prefer cash, checks, or debit cards but also accept credit cards and WIC/FDNP food vouchers. No dogs allowed. See a google map at Morning Shade Map.
