A Sixteenth share is the ultimate sampler package, giving you a variety of steaks and other cuts to try as well as approximately 10lbs of burger to enjoy too! Each cut will be labeled and individually vacuum packaged. Pricing is based on the hanging weight with the average hanging weight being 40-50 pounds. An Sixteenth share typically yields about 20-30 pounds of packaged beef. This can include T-bones, Rib Steaks, Sirloin Steaks, roasts, round steaks, short ribs, kabob cuts, soup bones, and around 10lbs of ground beef in one pound packages. This share size is a great option for those wanting to try our beef before committing to a larger share, have limited freezer space or are a single member household. The average total cost for a Sixteenth share is $250-$300.
We have a few shares of each size available for our late April harvest if you want a head start on stocking up for BBQ season. Shares from our April harvest will be ready to pick up mid to late May. If you’re looking to stock up on ground beef, we have ground beef boxes available now and will be having another round of ground beef made from our next harvest as well. Our ground beef is made by harvesting one whole beef and having the entire beef deboned by hand. All of the premium cuts are included in the process to create a juicy, flavorful, lean ground beef, far better than anything you’ll find in the grocery store. The ground beef is vacuum packaged in one pound packages.
