| Hello From Wachlin Farms!
Well it’s that weird time of year where your not sure if it’s Summer or Fall there’s a chill in the air, it’s a little darker each day but your eating fresh Tomatoes from the Farm and wondering when you can get a Pumpkin for your Porch because your ready for Fall!
Well Papa’s Pumpkin Patch will be fully open as of October 1st and we will be doing a soft opening September 17th! We have had quite the trying year to get to this point with skyrocketing supply costs, crazy weather, pests resulting in many acres having to be completely replanted. We have been incredibly lucky and blessed to have a had so many “easy” years that sometimes we take for granted the fact that can change at anytime for so many reasons and we know we aren’t the only Farm dealing with the same issues. That being said there maybe some varieties of Pumpkin or Squash we may not have this year and we have had to make a few price changes for some items however we have done our best to still make Papas Pumpkin Patch an affordable Family Friendly destination to visit this Fall.
We will still have Pumpkins, Gourds, Squash, Cornstalks, Strawbales, Local Cider, Kettle Corn, Local Candles and many many other Locally made products. Plus we currently have Upick Tomatoes and will likely through most of October ( weather dependent)
You guys are the best Customers and we sure can’t wait to see you at the Patch!
This week in the Market we have No Spray Veggies such as:
- Pints of mixed Tomatoes
- Bulk #7 boxes of Sauce Tomatoes
- Green beans ( likely nearing the end)
- Tomatillos( likely through October)
- Basil
- Shishitos
- Lemon Cucumbers ( the last of them)
- Ground Cherries ( likely through October)
- Romaine Lettuce
- Butter Lettuce
