The last of our “gardens” for the year is the pumpkin patch! We call it “Just Pumpkins” because we give you an easy opportunity to get out to the farm and collect a diversity of pumpkins, amazing fall ornamentals, and delicious winter squash. No hassle, no entrance/parking fee, no frills — just a real pumpkin patch and lots of fresh air! We have wagons for you to take into the field, just bring the kids and your camera!
Here at the beginning of the month there are still lots of sweet table grapes to pick – several varieties. You’ll be able to find eggplants, peppers, and tomatoes — “end of the garden” picking means you’ll need to work a bit for those.
Also, don’t miss the jars of Summer — berries from our fields, preserved in the marvelous Big Jalms! Think about holiday gifting, and stocking up your pantry.
