This weeks peach varieties are Star Fire, Harken and Frost. These are all freestone peaches great for canning, smoothies, fresh eating, pies, you name it! These trees have lots of peaches that run on the smaller side. They are at ground level where children can help harvest. (Easy for the rest of us too!)
Veteran, Reliance and Late Elberta peaches are all still ripening and will be available in a couple of weeks.
All u-pick peaches will be $2.00 per pound. If you purchase over 50 pounds of fruit you will receive a 10% discount. Come with your family and friends and enjoy our beautiful short orchard.
If you are unable to pick your own fruit, we are always willing to pick for you. Pre-picked peaches are in 11 pound boxes for $30. Just send a text to 503.313.1346 and order however many boxes you need. Please order at least 24 hours before you want to pick them up. We don’t keep an inventory of pre-picked peaches.

Orchard Etiquette. Please consider the following when you come to pick.
Please leave pets at home. No matter how well behaved your pet may be, it is likely that others, particularly children, may be afraid of it. We strive to have a place children feel comfortable and appreciate your help in this way. Please leave pets at home.
Please pick where directed. There may be fruit in other areas that looks appealing to you. There are many reasons we specify where to pick. Please pick only in the designated picking area for the day. We don’t mind at all if you walk through other areas in the orchard, but we ask that you only look when outside of the designated picking area.
A portable toilet is provided. It is the only appropriate place to use the restroom.
Your children may notice a trampoline in our back yard. We are not able to allow customers to utilize these toys.
We encourage you to forward our email to family or friends. Anyone who wants to be added to the email list just needs to go to our website (bellsorchard.com) and click on the link at the bottom of the home page to join the email list. Besides the email list, other ways to know what is available in the orchard is by liking us on Face Book at ‘Bells Orchard’ or on our web page at www.bellsorchard.com
When you make your purchase we accept cash, checks, debit and credit cards, apple pay and Venmo.
We have both u-pick and pre-picked fruit. However, we do not keep pre-picked fruit in our store. If you would like us to pick fruit for you, please text us at 503.313.1346 one day ahead to place an order. Pre-pick fruit is sold by the box which contains about 12 pounds of fruit. Indicate how many boxes of fruit and a specific variety if you have one and we will have it ready for you when you come.
Remember our orchard is “short” so no ladders are needed for picking. Children can often reach the fruit and assist in the harvest.
