On Friday, July 11, we will open our Lodi and Transparent apples up for picking. They are a soft, tart apple that are great for applesauce or pie, but not good for fresh eating. We only have 2 trees and the supply is limited. They will be $1.50/lb, u-pick.
We have BOTH sweet cherries- Van (dark red) and Royal Ann (red), AND PIE (sour) cherries, Montmorency, for $2.50/lb. TThe Van variety are higher up in the trees and more challenging to pick, while there are still Royal Ann. The sweet cherries are beginning to get soft and dried so if you would like those you should come soon without forecasted high temperatures coming by Friday into early next week. Our Montmorency cherry trees have plenty still left on them as well.
***PLEASE BRING REUSABLE GROCERY TOTE BAGS (NOT PLASTIC BAGS), OR BUCKETS TO PICK INTO. We have a limited number of buckets available to pick into.
